I
could not upload a comma-delimited file despite the indication
that they could be recognized. I had to replace the commas
with |'s. Is this a common issue?
First, be sure that
you have specified your "delimiter" correctly in the
Upload Data page. You can set it to match the delimiter you.
You don't need to replace the 's with |'s in your file,
instead in our upload interface you can specify the delimiter
as, rather than |. There is a specify "delimiter"
option.
When
I uploaded my file, I received an error code:
"unrecognized demographic" but I did create the
demographic. What's wrong?
First, be sure that
all the demographics in your upload file have been enabled in
our system. When uploading a file, the system recognizes
demographic fields that are currently enabled. If your
demographic exists in the system but has not been enabled, you
will not be able to fully upload your file. To enable a
demographic, go to the Demographics page, and select that
demographic as enabled.
One
of the columns in the file I am uploading is a check box
demographic field. How should the column read in the
spreadsheet?
For checkbox options,
the choice is either checked or unchecked…to show a value of
"checked" when uploading, the column should say
"on" for every item that you want to show as
"checked." |
